Blacklist Toys launched their site on Friday the 13th.2017. A day later they began leaking a few teasers of what was to come. First announcing the artist, then announcing what they had in stores. The "Writer Series" pins series is the first of many series of pins that Blacklist Toys will be releasing. The term "Writer" is slang in the underworld between graffiti artist that describes themselves as Serious Graffiti Artist among themselves,crew members, other crews, and within the graffiti community.
The "Writer Series" pins is a series that Blacklist Toys is manufacturing and producing themselves. Working with artist they deem worthy. Blacklist Toys has been seeking out artist willing to collaborate relentlessly to bring you guys a home/site/store you can come to to find all your favorite graffiti artist pins. Focusing their first few drops on NYC artist. But don't get it twisted, they know there's talented graffiti artist all over the world. Don't worry, they got something for everybody!
Their first drop is with a NYC based graffiti artist named "ORDER"
He is the first artist of many to come in this series or talented graffiti artist. Order designed the Pin #1 (original/order) Colorway, and Blacklist Toys designed the #2 (B.T.Exc.) Colorway. All colorways are available right now individually with a few complete sets available while supplies last at www.BlacklistToys.com , the artist has a few of his original colorway available via his Instagram. Blacklist Toys has a page on their website looking for any artist willing to do a pin project at the footer of their site called "Artist Submissions". They will fully fund the first project as long as those who submit meet their requirements. It's an easy way for artist to make money and for Blacklist Toys to show you their appreciation by helping and supporting artist out there. All pins in every series is made under the same circumstances. All Pins are Artist Series, will Always be extremely limited runs, and will Always be exclusive.
